On this 3 hour experience you will have great time and learn amazing bushcraft skills.
Set in a beautiful hidden Devon valley with woods and babbling stream you won’t find a better location.
Bushcraft is really useful when out in the wilds, be it on a bike, in a canoe or on foot. During this 2.5 hour experience you will sample outdoor living at its best.
Unique in a number of ways:- – Fun tractor trailer ride to / from venue – Private venue nestled in the lovely Devon countryside – Based around building your own bush camp using tarps, hammocks and natural resources – Making fire and a tasty bushwhacker snack and may be the odd toasted marshmallow
Just like our canoe experiences this is a jam packed, interesting and fun activity! Time will fly and you will definitely be wanting more!
Great news for the 2019 season!
We have two new canoes joining the Bude Canoe Experience Fleet!
They are lovely Old Town Discoveries 16.9’s.
These are capable of carrying 500kg and have 4 seats!
Perfect for enabling young families to paddle together comfortably in one canoe.
Here is a picture of them being fitted out at our base nr Holsworthy.
We are well and truly open for 2019! We had great fun on the Bude Canal this afternoon! We paddled from the Sea Lock to Rodds Lock and back, mastered basic skills and did a couple of challenges, learned about the history of the canal and saw some wildlife! Top sightings included; Herons, a frog, nesting Moor Hens, Ducks, Geese and Swans! All great fun! We are open for canoeing on the Bude Canal!!😃🛶😃
With about a week to go until we open we did our pre-season paddle!
Litter picking, a bit of pruning and wildlife spotting (top spot – grass snake)!
Everything is coming alive!
Finally got my Mum to experience the Bude Canal from a canoe! She loved it!
Roll on April when we open!
Did you know? Although nearly all of our paddling is done on the gorgeous Bude Canal, Cornwall, our base is just a few miles away over the border in lovely Holsworthy, Devon!
The Bude Tourist Information Centre is now selling these lovely maps of this amazing area.
